The exhibition takes you into the world of the Viennese Secession and the Golden Age of Art Nouveau in Austria. The young Gustav Klimt challenged classical art. His shockingly sensual paintings, inspired by a visit to Italy and a passion for Japanese ornamentation, provoked a mixed reaction from viewers.
